Our hearts beating like a poem
Bathe me in the waters of your love
You will steam in the heat of my want
Drink the waters of my love distilled
I will burn in the heat of your fantasy fulfilled
Hold my hand and I'll hold yours
My palm is dry and fearless and hardened with life
I'll challenge you to a pinky wrestling match
You'll laugh
I'll watch you eat
Life will be joy
Each day I rise anticipating your face
Hungrier for it than the sun
Or breakfast
For breakfast
You know what I want
There's no time, no time
Run off to the shower as I dress
Leave you with a kiss and caress
