Sun and Flower

By Not Telling

I am made the sun by her content

My love shining sweetly from a blue sky

Strangely distant and intimate at once

As if I had loved her yesterday

My body’s memory of her an ache

For ever more while far away on earth

Open tenderly for radiant joy

Honored and humbled am I to bestow

Displayed magnificently fragrant

Such obviously female splendor reclined

Softly demands my complete surrender

To give all and give again until

Empty I float down a spent leaf of light

Landing as a petal in her midst

There to ever reside inside as one

Perfect happiness of layered being

Part of the greater beauty of her

Reveling in her mind and soul

Trading sweet thoughts as long as we

Shall grow together as a poem

How do you pump them out so fast NT, I am awed and spent.

Then I will rest until we meet again so as to be fresh.

Your work brings me joy. I hope my work brings a little of the same to you.

You know from whence poems come: from within and without.

Gorgeous. Oh, you were talking about my poem. I thought "very pretty" was a caption for your picture.

I read this twice , no three times, sensual in a funny sort of way.
