Be a slightly nearer star
In your galaxy
Planet in your system
If not a satellite

That might be boring

For both of us

A satellite
Me circling around you
Waiting for my orbit to decay

There he goes again
Right on schedule
Ho hum"
Although satellites
Eventually crash into the bodies they orbit
Doesn't sound half bad
Except for the burning up in the atmosphere
Part
Or maybe

I can be a comet
Wayward traveler
Passing by
With a degree
Of unpredictability
Sharing a little gravity

had agood night.... our grandson told the waiter, and he got us a plate of fruit with candles and free wine wow...... crafting with Erin now at this moment she is 5.... cute little thing.

I adore poetry that reference the stars and the universe. It is like mentioning that there is more above the skies and on thru an eternity! Well done!
i think we should just have a poetry hub place i only just thought of that.... i intend to write lots of things as prose but my words somehow come out,,,,,, and i have to put them under the title of poetry, ah just thinking aloud, i really like this style of poetry, i really do.,..
